Mrs. Gilchrest has always had diverse interests in Promotions/marketing, public speaking, and music, displaying her talents through writing numerous original R&B songs, and poetry, dancing in The Kiss FM Master Mix Show, and coming in as 4th runner up in the 2001 Miss New York State Pageant. She also appeared in a hair magazine in 1999. Mrs. Gilchrest wants to give people the opportunity to showcase their talent in the "Beauty World" and this is how she came up with the idea of Davelli Hair Spa. Mrs. Gilchrest said Davelli is for those to look great on the outside, but to also feel confident on the inside. Mrs. Gilchrest specializes in Self-Esteem building, Suicide Prevention, and Early Intervention. She wants to give people, who are struggling with low self-esteem or those that just want to feel and look beautiful an affordable place to go. Mrs.Gilchrest wants the team to make Home Visits all over to build self-esteems, uplift and make those smile that have not smiled in a long time. Mrs. Gilchrest holds an Associates of Arts in Business a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Management and continues to further her education with a focus on a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Mrs Gilchrest has always said her Gifts are not for her, her gifts are to be used to help others!
